Dr. Peter (Pete) Killcommons earned his bachelor of medicine from City College of New York, graduating cum laude. Focused on improving telehealth access to people in remote areas of the world, Peter Killcommons, MD, is the CEO of Medweb.

In 2019, Medweb was one of the exhibitors at the American Telemedicine Association’s 2019 Annual Conference (ATA19) held from April 14 to 16 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
ATA19 brought together 10,000 participants, including healthcare providers, physicians, insurers, clinicians, professional researchers, and healthcare investors, to discuss the future of telehealth. Attendees looked at emerging telehealth developments such as new modalities, technologies, and applications and their ability to meet the increasing demand for virtual care among patients.
As consumers embrace the power telehealth gives them to manage their own health, it is upon healthcare practitioners to innovate and deliver greater choices for their patients. ATA19 provided a platform for these practitioners to meet, engage, network, and gain insights that would benefit their practices. These insights are also expected to lead to better patient outcomes and lower healthcare costs.
